Just to give you a quick update I was on stage at the Our Lady Of Assumption Festa saying Hi to everyone and passing out tee shirts!! It was fun!! I will be doing some more appearances soon so keep checking the update!!

I worked out three hours a day seven days a week the whole time I was out in LA for the show. I did one hour in the morning of training and then in the afternoon and one hour of cardio at nite. A resist a ball is a great source of a work out great for abs and other body parts. I also did yoga and pilates and cardi kickboxing. My trainer had me do workouts outside of the gym such as hiking and walking. I ran up three flights of stairs numerous time for the burn. There are lot of ways you can work out of your home or outside without even going to a gym!!! I will write back soon LOVE all of You Tina

Matt and I are currently at a campground for the summer and we just don’t have the internet hooked up in the RV… I have to go to the library or over to a friend’s house to be able to post anything here, so things are just going to be a little slow is all. Please don’t give up, and do keep coming back!

That way you can subscribe to all your favorite sites that offer feeds (most do these days) and you can stay in touch with what’s going on here at my site.

But I’m hoping to publish weekly tips and tricks (like how to get a gym-like workout at home and how to eat like you’re being fed by a nutritionist) once I get to the point where I have some time to spend online. Stay tuned okay?

The above photos were taken at my highest weight of 180 lbs. Matty and I were still married, though it wasn’t much after this when he left.

Because of the show’s jump start, I actually lost a grand total of about 60 pounds (I continued to work hard after my return home), and here’s the “famous” wedding photo of me and Matt after our wedding back at the Grenadine Islands in the Carribean:

I sat there bawling through the whole thing - of course, in between laughing - but I’m just so very proud of my best friend! Having been right there with her while she went through the range of emotions over that whole period of time in her life - from falling in love right through til now - it was sometimes hard for me to watch, because I just remember all that pain she felt, and how it had changed her from the bright, sunny person I’d always known, to the person you saw at the beginning of the episode last night. I can’t say it enough though - ABC and The Ex-Wives Club gave the world back the Tina that everyone knew and loved! Matt is a wonderful man and husband to Tina, and together they’re just the epitome of pure love… it’s such an amazing thing to see them together! (Awh hell, I’m getting bleary and teary again! LOL)

Anyway, Tina wanted me to come on and thank all of you for your kind words and comments (I’ve been reading them to her), and to let you know that she’s currently waiting to get her internet connection set up so she can jump on here and keep you all updated with what’s going on with her and Matt. (Didn’t you just LOVE that ending?! :))

So please be patient, and I will try updating as much as I can while Tina awaits her internet connection, or makes it to the library to hop on and post some updates herself.

TINA’S TIME ON ABC

Tina Dame of Mariaville is the latest Capital Region resident to get 15 minutes of fame.

In Dame’s case, it’s more like 60 minutes. She’ll tell the story of her relationship on Monday’s “Ex-Wives Club,” a new ABC reality series.

The show, which premiered this past Monday, gives viewers scoops behind the marital relationships and woes of five men and five women. Self-improvement, determination and even a little revenge are parts of the series, which airs at 9 p.m. on WTEN.

“Everybody’s story is different,” said Dame, 30, who was Tina Drozinski when she graduated from Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School in 1994. She is divorced from Matt Dame, who also makes an appearance on the show; Tina Dame is now married to Matt Zawisza.

Tina Dame joins a band of other local television celebrities. Latham’s Debbie Oatman and her family went national on the May season finale of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition;” Chad Collins of Canajoharie had a major role in “Lake Placid 2,” which premiered in April on the Sci Fi Channel. And Schalmont High School senior Henry Bejarano made an early splash on Fox’s “American Idol” competition last winter.

Dame, who like the other cast members will appear on other episodes of the series, attended a casting session for “Ex-Wives” in Albany last October. She learned she had been chosen in January and was flown out to Los Angeles. Filming took place through March.

“I have a big transformation on the show,” she said, adding a personal trainer and exercise were part of the makeover. So fans can expect to see weight loss and a new look.

The show, hosted by Marla Maples, Shar Jackson and Angie Everhart — ex-pals of Donald Trump, Kevin Federline and Ashley Hamilton, respectively — also lets the divorced and near-divorced stars of the show get even with their spouses in small ways.

“We get to damage old memorabilia from our exes,” Dame said. “One girl got to blow a car up.”

I also caught the first commercial this morning about my episode (Monday. ABC. 9pm. Be there!) with the clips and everything. I can’t believe how much that experience changed me… I’m so grateful to Marla, Angie, and Shar - as well as to Andrew and Glassman Media and everyone who was involved with my “project”. (More to come on all of that later, after the episode airs… can’t give away too much yet!)
